I decided that I wanted to try drawing stylized horses since. I took a reference photo of a horse and redrew it multiple times in different styles/characterizations. Then I chose my favorite character design and created a 9" tall 3D maquette using a wire armature and sculpey clay.

We should get together so you can teach me how to use the 10 blocks of plasteline clay i got as a gift. i've never used oil based clay before. oh and you can teach me the art of armatures.
